History: The Houtai were stated to be the first nin to discover the usage of Medical jutsu, they have thrived on renown as some of the best healer's in all the nations, it was when Mieji Houtai was born that the Houtai clan become one of the most powerful, Meji was the first to possess the "aura" of health and radically altered synapses, he rose to the top of the clan quickly with these gifts and began to alter newborn members so that they may have the same gifts as he had, many higher level healing jutsus and forbidden ones were created by this clan
